Why can’t we just let Jesus be Jesus?

I’m not close to being a Christian, but I am a person of faith who is quite the Jesus fan. Why? Because this guy, more than anyone I’ve ever known or heard of, fearlessly lived his relationship with God, the great Whatever. That relationship was his joy and his satisfaction; wherever it took him was where he went. He didn’t prevaricate or rationalize or temporize when it came to living his faith. He suited up and showed up.

I cannot imagine a better role model for a person of faith; for anyone who also tries to live a relationship with God, rather than just talk about it.

If I’m so into Jesus, why am I not a Christian?

  1. Douglas A. Torok says:

If you knew of His teaching regarding Himself, you would be with Him or against Him, most are with Him for His acceptance of all, unconditional love for all, power to restore, heal, save. Few want to follow His example of surrendering personal will. But if He is not really who He claimed to be, well then He lied, and nobody should be ‘in’ to being a liar!

I’m neither into Jesus or Christian. I suspect he was an ok guy.
